Dedicated to all children who must never forget to regulate themselves when they pass through rough bumps ; your happiness might seem far, but is always around the corner.

In a far small village, there was a man called Mr. Patience. The entire village called him the quite sad men however, he knew who he was. Mr. Patience has been alone his entire life. He spent most of his time reading alone, ate alone, slept alone, took a walk alone, just did everything alone and never complained.

One day, Mr. Patience felt super ill. He woke up with a toothache. It disturbed his ability to eat, sleep, and even read his book. He couldn’t take the huge pain and said, “let me run to the dentist.” Mr. Patience arrived at the dentist right on time and was asked to sit and wait for his name to be called. He did exactly that. He waited.

One person who was before him name was called, another name was called, another, another, and another but , Mr. Patience waited. He heard another name, another, and another, but did not complain. Not a single word came out of him. Finally, after waiting for 3 hours, his name was called. Mr. Patience wanted to smile for hearing his name, but his tooth really disturbed him.

The doctor checked Mr. Patience tooth and gave him pain reliefs. She suggested that if the pain refused to go away to return as soon as possible. He arrived home and began applying the pain relief. Before he went to sleep, he added the medicine. He did it in the morning after brushing his teeth, in the evening , and so on until he felt much better.

The next day, Mr. Patience woke up with a plan. He said to himself, “today I am going to read my book all day; I’ll read it, finish it, read another, and another in peace." He indeed sat down and began his precious day. Mr. patience really read his book in peace. He read one page after the other and laughed aloud by himself as he spotted funny things from his book. Just as he tried moving his fingers for another page, he heard a huge growl from his stomach; his laughter immediately vanished.

Mr. Patience realized he needed food; his digestive system was crying, and he really needed to please it. He immediately dropped the book and rushed to the refrigerator. After opening the refrigerator, he found nothing but a box of white milk and an apple that he heard calling his name. He grabbed the apple and ate it in less than 3 minutes. The apple however, did not satisfy his stomach; there was more he needed to add because the growling didn’t stop.

Mr. patience then said, “let me rush to the grocery store; I really have nothing to eat, and I am super hungry." He Indeed rushed to the grocery store just as he mentioned. The grocery store appeared super busy as Mr. Patience hunger continued. He rushed to grab his favorite food items and after feeling satisfied with all his choices, he went for the line. Mr. patience observed the entire store and noticed that every line was long. Each line had up to 10 people; this left him with two choices; to leave the grocery store or wait until his turn. Since he knew who he was, he decided to stand and wait with everyone else.

Mr. Patience was number 12 in line and needed to wait for 11 people to finish checking out their items. Some people were delaying the line on their cell phones as others added new items to their carts ; slowly, they added one after the other however, Mr. patience never said anything. He waited, waited, and waited even when the stomach kept pushing him to try skipping everyone. As he eagerly waited, a young lady he never seen before approached him and cried out, “excuse me! hello sir, I am very sorry to come to you, but I am late for my niece birthday party, may I please skip you?” his stomach stopped growling and without a word, Mr. patience smiled and allowed the lady to get ahead of him.
