Structured Instruction Observation Protocol. 

1Serves as glue print for designing lessons that integrate content learning with additional language support for English learners. Vaca, Vaca and Mraz also talk about teachers also use a variety of instructional aids to let students who have limited skills in reading, listening, writing and speaking "see" the challenging and often abstract content visually. In the video, the teacher talked about created large charts on the floor so that the student could better visualize the material. 

    SIOP Method seems to be effective because it enhances instructional delivery by making it more visually learning. Allowing the students to have the material taught in different ways allows them to learn and process the information in different ways. 

    After reading the chapters and viewing the videos, I plan on incorporating the SIOP Model to ensure that I am being more intentional with my instruction and making sure that my students have a variety of instructional aids.
