Hi, I’m Prince Charming. I live in a castle with my 

father and mother, the King and Queen, along with 

many butlers and servants. I am not like most princes. 

I am handsome at least, but I am very independent. 

Every year, my parents say “You must attend the Royal 

Ball!” but sometimes I wish I did not have to. Some girls 

in town wish to marry me, such as the Tremaine sisters, 

but I do not love them. The Tremaine sisters do have 

another sister who is magnificent, but I can only see her 

when she buys groceries.

I went to the market the other day, and she was there. 

She was looking as brilliant as she always does, and my 

shy character persuaded me to say nothing. She was in 

and out in a few minutes in some grand hurry.

I attended the Royal Ball that night. I saw all the usual 

people there, visited with some friends, and danced with a 

few people. I encountered the infamous Tremaine sisters, 

and soon avoided them. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a 

blonde beauty enter the Ball in a striking blue gown; it was 

her. 

She had seemed very cautious, but I had to dance with her. 

I finally gained the courage to ask her to dance, and she 

said yes. I was so caught up in her eyes and our dance that 

I did not ask her name, and without a warning she heard 

the clock strike twelve and busted out of the room, leaving 

me in disbelief. 

I hurried after her, but she had gotten too far ahead. She 

left something. One of her glass slippers was laying on the 

ground. It was all I had left of the gorgeous girl I had 

danced with, but I was not giving up until she became my 

wife.
