In the village of Rampur there was a girl named Maya who lived with her parents. Her father always pampered her younger brother Mayank and treated her as an unwanted child. He always used to talk about her marriage as if that was the only purpose of her life. But Maya wanted to study and she dreamt of being a teacher.
When Maya turned 16 her father's desire became stronger. He restricted Maya even from going to school and playing with her friends. Her father said, "You don't have to study anymore. Don't go to school from now on. Learn how to do household chores. Learn to cook and take care of your brother."


She was so upset as she was not able to continue her studies and achieve her dreams. Her father restricted her to go out. She had to stay at home all over the day. Her brother was not so happy with the behavior of his parents. He wanted his sister to be happy. He wanted to play with her.
