   One day in Bishop Arthur School, 

there was a new student from U.S.A. 

named Magomi.   Magomi was smart in 

every subject, like math, science, gym 

and problem solving.   Jenny,Marian and 

Eric were so jealous of how smart 

Magomi was.   They decided to bully her 

and call her names. Magomi became 

very sad.

  At recess time, Magomi was walking 

slowly by herself and she saw Eric, 

Jenny and Marian talking in a circle.  

She ran quickly to them and said ''Hi 

guys!'' happily.   They looked at her 

with glaring hatred and said          ''M-

A-G-O-M-I!,'' then   they laughed and 

ran away.   Magomi felt sad and 

confused. The bell rang and everyone 

went inside to their classrooms.

  The class was quietly listening to 

Ms.Lily, their classroom   teacher reading 

a story. Eric decided to write a nasty 

note to Magomi.   He wrote that Magomi 

is a smarty-farty!.   Then he passed it to 

Jenny and she wrote Magomi's name on 

the middle of the paper and Marian drew 

a very silly picture of Magomi on it.  

They dropped it on Magomi's desk when 

she wasn't looking.   Then she looked at 

the nasty note and felt very sad and 

embarrassed.

   The class went outside for gym because it 

was sunny outside.   They were playing 

basketball.   Eric decided to throw   the 

basketball hard at Magomi's head on 

purpose. She fell down and cried sadly 

because it hurt so much!   It did not only hurt 

her head but it hurt her feelings too.  

Magomi told Ms.Lily that Eric, Jenny and 

Marian had bullied her and Ms.Lily took the 

students inside the office to talk to 

Ms.Akera the principal.
