My dream job was to be one of the best engineers and I did. Do you want to know more about my story and what happened in it? Read and find out!

Once upon a time, there was a 10-year-old girl named Amina. She was living with her mum and her two younger brothers in Qatar.
Her dad passed away when she was five years old. Amina’s mom used to work day and night to provide a decent life for her three children. The girl was dreaming of becoming an architect.

Mum, when I grow up, I want to be a smart engineer then you don’t have to work anymore, I’m going to take care of our family.

My beloved daughter, I have always dreamed for you to be a special inspiring person in society, no matter what you will be , every special person should do his job with enthusiasm and passion.

Amina grew up, joined Qatar University, and finally graduated from Faculty of Engineering. The junior architect started her real life.

One day she was reading an article and her eyes caught an announcement in the newspaper for a competition. It was subjected to the pioneers architects to design the new National Museum in Doha.

Amina felt herself over the moon from the news she read, and immediately registered her information to participate.

Next day Amina met her friends and she excitedly told them the news.
Hey friends, finally I registered in a competition, you should participate as well, it’s a life chance to design a big iconic project!”

Her friend responded very negatively:

I do not want to make you upset, but you`re definitely not going to win. You`re just a junior architect with no experience!

I will take the challenge. I believe in myself and my capabilities .

Amina was influenced by a role model architect "Badria Kafood ", the first Qatari engineer graduated from the UK in 1990 from West Minister University.
Badria inspired Amina by her achievements in the field, hard-working attitude and strong personality.
Amina devoted all her time focusing on how to create the best national museum design.
At the same time , she worked as a freelancer to gain extra money so she can buy the necessary material to build the model.

Mum I am really worried, I’m afraid my project won’t be awarded.
Days past quickly, and the day of submission of the project came. Amina was very anxious, she called her mother:

You can do it, always remember your role model, she believed in her abilities, and started just like you , you are also strong !

Amina was asked by the judges to go on stage to start explaining her project. Amina did a fabulous presentation for her new innovative design.

The unexpected surprise was that Amina won the first place, and honored as the best design for the museum. She finally achieved her dream, and made her family proud.
Now she became the famous creative architects she always wanted to be.
