Chapter one: surfing, some
time over at a friends house
and planning

It was an average day in San Diego, California. Mr. Kirtus and Mrs. Katerson were in their new house that they just bought a week ago, and Violet, John and the triplets (Violet Jr., Kate and Katie) were having some breakfast in Mr. Kurtis's house when Mr. Kirtus said that there is this new space ship that can travel at 70,000 times the speed of light! "Well, it might be hard to find a baby sitter to baby sit triplets for a couple of days or a week." Said Violet. "Yeah, I agree, we should probably not go or you guys should just go." Said John. (Also, there has been another Mr. Kirtus book, so you should just look up Mr. Kirtus and scroll down until you see another book with the name Mr. Kirtus on it.) "Well, we could bring them on the space journey ." Said Mr. Kirtus. "Well, maybe, but that might be nerve racking if something goes wrong." Mrs. Katerson pointed out. (Mr. Kurtis's wife is Mrs. Katerson.) "I'll triple check all of the systems so that we can go up into space all together." Mr. Kirtus said as the triplets started throwing their berry puree at each other. (They were three months old.) When they were in the great room, they started watching The incredibles.
When they were finished with the movie, the Potters (that is Violet's family, Violet's full name is Violet Rose Potter.) When Mr. Kirtus and Mrs. Katerson were alone, Mr. Kirtus started to look for rockets to rent from NASA right away. He found a small warp rocket that he could rent for three hundred dollars a day. He clicked on the rent link and decided to get it the next week and rent it for four days. The subtotal not including the shipping fee was 1,200. (Including the shipping fee was 1,300.) In the mean time, they were just going to hang out, go to the beach and surf. One of Mr. Kurtis's favorite habits since he moved to California was surfing and going to the beach. When he was working on his computer, he looked up the best times to go surfing. It said that The morning and evening were the best time of day to go surfing so the next day early morning he went out surfing. It was mostly fun except that a large fish had scared him to death because he thought that it was a shark. Or was it? He didn't know. When he came home, he started working on one of his science experiments in the simulator. He found it much safer to do in simulators.
He was simulating if his mathematical science theory was correct in the simulator, and it wasn't. In the simulator, galaxies ended up flying apart and all rocky chemicals became self-setting-off-explosive. In other words, rocks blew up randomly and could cause more rocks to explode, so on and so forth and what have you. When Mr. Kirtus was working on a chemistry experiment at the lab, it ended up blowing up and causing a fire which was extinguished by the sprinklers. (Luckily.) When Bob came over to visit that evening to have a glass of wine, Mr. Kirtus asked Bob if he wanted to come. "No, I have another spy mission with another person." Bob said. "What is it about?" Mr. Kirtus asked. "That I can't tell you because you might spill the beans." Bob said. "Okay." Mr. Kirtus said. He felt like him and Bob were drifting apart lately because of all of Bob's spy missions. "Hey, maybe we could go by the beach and surf tomorrow?" Mr. Kirtus asked. "Well, I don't have a spy mission tomorrow, so why not?" Bob asked. "See you tomorrow." Mr. Kirtus said. "Sure will." Bob said. And after that Mr. Kirtus didn't remember much because he took drowsy Motrin for his head ache.
The next morning when Bob and Mr. Kirtus were at the beach, they got to see a seal swimming through the water which was pretty cool because they didn't get to see many. When they were surfing, they ended up on a massive wave that splashed everybody on the beach except for the coast guards since they were so high up. Bob ended up inside of the wave and was splashed on the beach. It was very painful because he did a belly flop on the sand. "Hey, Bob, you okay?" Mr. Kirtus asked. "Yeah, I'm fine, just a belly flop." Bob answered. "Ow, that must have hurt. Mr. Kirtus commented. After they went to the beach, the week seemed to fly by. Mr. Kirtus was busy at work, he had a lot of chores at home, and there was a little bit of a crazy frenzy in the biology part of the lab. Let's just say that there were less lab rats after that. When the week finally ended and Mr. Kirtus was ready to go onto the space trip, he called Violet to tell her that he was ready to go on the space trip. "Okay, I'm just changing Katie's diaper but I'll be right over." Mr. Kirtus could hear John cursing at the dryer to work in the background noise.
When Violet arrived, John said that the dryer wasn't working at their house again, though Mr. Kirtus already knew this but didn't say anything. When Mr. Kirtus drove to the NASA station, Katie threw her muffin at Violet Jr. and got cupcake crumbs all over the floor. Mr. Kirtus was very unhappy about this but didn't say it. When they got to the NASA station, everybody was ready, Violet had four packs of diapers and a bunch of baby food packed. When they launched, they were going so fast that all of the light outside was reddened and the wavelengths were stretched out. They started going so fast that you could trip and fly backward and hit the back of the ship. When they were headed to a habitable planet called Callorous-567 c, they got caught in the gravitational field of a black hole when their engines broke, which as you could imagine was very bad. The alarm systems were going off, sparks were flying, they were spiraling uncontrollably towards the black hole, John was cursing at the engine to start working again (like he did with his dryer) all of which was very stressful. When they entered the black hole, it seemed to be an endless dark pit.

Chapter two: being stranded,
mining and a metropolis
When they reached a certain point, you could start to see what looked like a hole that led to another universe. Which it did. When they came out the other end, they saw pink, purple and green starts before they crash landed on a deserted planet. When they crash landed, they jumped out before they hit the ground so that they wouldn't be blown up. When they hit the ground, Violet landed on her back, John did a belly flop and Mr. Kirtus landed on his feet. "How come you're the only person that landed on their feet?" John asked. "I don't know, luck I guess. Mr. Kirtus said. "Well, I didn't have very much luck then because I did a belly flop." John said. "You think that that had hurt? I landed on my back!" Violet said. "Well, let's stop complaining about who landed on which part and find out a way to get the freaking' out of here!" Mr. Kirtus said. "Well, how? We don't have any supplies, no tools and no way to obtain any materials!" Violet said. They went wandering off of the beach that they landed on and went into a forest that was very dark. When they went in there, they were lost almost immediately. They stayed together, but they had no idea where they were going.
