Hooray I finally finished my homework. I worked so hard on it. I think I am sure to get an A+. My parents and teacher will be so proud of me.

All of a sudden a light shined through the window and then an alien appeared.  The boy was petrified and could not talk or move.

The alien then proceeded to move across the room and snatched the boy's homework.

The alien flew across his room and out the window.  The boy was in shock for a few minutes.  He was trying to make sense of what just happened, but it was nearly impossible.

I can't believe what just happened. Did I really just see a little green guy come into my room and steal my homework? What should I do? Will anyone believe me?

The next day the boy tried to explain to his teacher that the aliens stole his homework.  The teacher was not amused.  He told him to go to the principal's office if he was going to tell such tall tales.

The boy, once again, explains his story.  He describes to the principal how the alien came into his bedroom last night and stole his homework. That is why he could not turn it in.

         The principal looks at the boy with a puzzled face.

Now I have really heard it all. I thought my dog eating my homework fib was out there but this really takes the cake.

I'm sorry but I think it's time we called your parents.  

Oh no, what am I going to do? My teacher didn't believe me, the principal didn't believe me. I have to tell my parents next. Will they ever in a million years believe me? Aargh!

       That night the boy told his parents the whole story but 

       once again they did not believe him.  

Mom, Dad, I am telling the truth, aliens really exist and stole my homework. Why won't you or anyone believe me? 

Yes, I think we have heard enough!

Go to your room and start working on your homework immediately. No more silly excuses.  

AARGH!
