Jessica woke up excited for the day ahead of her.
She was going to spend the day at the lake with her friend Natalie.

She eagerly got dressed and headed over to Natalies.
There, they chatted and went to the lake.

At the lake they unloaded their supplies and started enjoying
their trip. Though, there was one thing in the back of Jessica's mind...

Jessica was wondering if she had to study for following
the following day. Natalie, concerned, said that is she she had
anything to do, they would go home. Jessica assured her that she
would worry about it later and continues to have fun.

As the afternoon went on, Jessica and Natalie diddnt worry about
it. They eventually left though, dreading school the next day.

Jessica woke up and got dressed for school. She then flew to school
with ease.

Whenever Jessica got there, however, Sarah
already there. This was unusual because she was quite early
today.

Also she realized the irony of her situation as Sarah was
, in fact, a snail, one of the so-called "slowest" animals.
She laughed to herself while sitting down.

Jessica started to regret getting there early as people started slowly
filing in. Yet around 8:00 AM, everyone was in their seats, and class began.
Jessica's teacher, Mr. Hilliard began calling attendance.

She waited patiently for her last name to be called , and said "here".
Class had finally begun.

Mr. Hilliard then announced for the class to put all of their
belongings away except for a pencil and paper. Jessica thought this was
odd because they usually read at this time but did not question it.

"Once i pass out the test, there will be no talking. You all know how important
this test is," said Mr. Hilliard. Jessica was stunned and confused about what
Mr. Hilliard was talking about.

She started to panic. Her mind then wandered back to a conversation
Mr. Hilliard had discussed with the class before they had left for break.

"This is the biggest test you will take all year. It accounts for half
of your grade. I hope you all take this very seriously," explained
Mr. Hilliard to the class.

She came back to her senses and felt queasy. Instead of
studying for her huge test, she went swimming with Natalie.
It was unlike her to look over something as important as this!
