JIMMY! ITS TIME TO COME IN AND LEARN ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF GOVERNMENT REGULATION
(1)
UGH! Why should I even care about that?! (2)

IN CLASS...

Claim: Government interference must be strictly regulated

Blah Blah Blah Blah....

Claim: Government interference must be strictly regulated

This is stupid and I don't get it

Claim: Government interference must be strictly regulated

I Know this can all be really boring to learn about, but its really important to learn!

Claim: Government interference must be strictly regulated

How about I explain it in a different way? (1)
Ugh whatever.. (2)

GOAL!!
Imagine This:
Samantha, a very talented soccer player absolutely NAILS her soccer tryouts for her DREAM team, yet the supposed “unbiased” judge picks his niece and all her friends despite her being the more qualified player.

We are doing nothing!
Having an unbiased judge is the ideal situation, but without proper enforcement and regulation the team as a whole will fall apart due to the biased judge choosing team members based on personal relations rather than the skill of the player.

You four are on the team!

SO UNFAIR!
Samantha's story is a small scale example of the effects of corruption in an organization. Bigger organizations such as the government often include situations similar to Samantha's, but with bigger repercussions and effects.
And though a government is supposed to uphold the law for the wellbeing of its citizens, it must be strictly regulated to prevent misuse and corruption.

That's STILL REALLY BORING! AND confusing! why would the government do the opposite of what its supposed to? (1)
Well that's the problem, the government is supposed to prevent corruption in its country, yet oftentimes it is susceptible to corruption within its own institution, due to the immorality of others.

For Example, It is not uncommon for unregulated government "officials to accept bribes from other officials in exchange for political protection and support "Ethan Trex, "4 More Examples..) A practice "that causes poverty, obstructs development and drives away investment. It also debilitates the judicial and political systems that should be working for the public good"(Countering the global problem of corruption) (1)
That REALLY sucks! How can that be prevented?

Good Question! There are many measure put in place to prevent corruption such as the The United Nations Convention against Corruption, Its Job is to "fight against corruption, including its prevention, investigation, asset recovery and the prosecution of offenders" (Countering the global problem of corruption). These restrictions help keep corruption under control, thus minimalizing its overall effects.
I think I'm starting to understand, but its still so confusing!!! I think ill just give up! (1)

Don't give up quite yet !
