Because of climate change, never seen flowers are blooming in Antarctica!

Throw trash in the bin not in our countryside!

Traffic
Transport is used frequently these days. It is used a lot because people find it much more comfortable driving their own car but this is causing much traffic.
Averyl Caruana
Although we have electric cars they still waste electricity to recharge and be driven on roads.
Some Solutions
* Instead of driving your child to school or driving to work, if the place is near, walk your child to school and walk to work.
* It is better if you use public transport.
* If you’re going to the same place with ten people don’t use ten cars, use two - five in one car and five in another.

Pollution
If we have a lot of pollution,
It will be hard to find a solution
I really hate climate change,
Cause it’s never gonna change
All I’ll do is wish,
For all these poor fish
All because of this plastic,
we are getting very sick.
I wish it’s not dead end,
and all of this can finally end

Metal Thrown in a Field
On Thursday 15 February 2024 at 12 o'clock, a bunch of metal thrown in an abandoned field was seen. This was harmful to the grass and the trees around it.

A lot of the metal was old and rusty which made it harmful and dangerous to humanity and nature.
A lot of the metal could have been reused while the rest could have been thrown away at the WasteServ’s Civic Amenity sites. Sadly, a rabbit was harmed because its neck got stuck under a barrel, but he was taken to the vet quickly to get cured.
All the metal that was found was taken to the WasteServ’s Civic Amenity sites. There was a lot of rust on the grass so that means that the metal was there for decades making it hard to clean the grass. Why, you ask, do I need to clean the grass? I need to clean the grass because if any animal that likes grass, for example the sheep, eats it, this might lead to stomach problems and even death.

Surprisingly it took about a week to clean it off the grass, spraying 5 litres a day of glyphosate but finally it was clean for animals to eat …but not for all animals.
Some animals have a strong stomach which can digest things that are harmful only to us for example crocodiles, sharks and vultures.
In conclusion this problem was fixed and taken care of so the environment or at least a part of the environment could be happy and unharmed.
This is a sight found when my mum and I were walking back from school one day. This really upsets me because the litter was bigger than in the picture and it shows that a lot of people are ignoring our Earth's health.

Tips on how to make your home more sustainable
Have you ever wondered how you can help the environment in your own home? Well wonder no more as I have some tips that can help you with taking care of the environment. Here are some tips to make small efforts and improvements at home, that can easily fit into your budget and that can have a big impact on the environment.

Some advice on how to keep your house temperature warm in winter and cool in summer is by thinking about home insulation advice from professionals. You should invest in double glazed apertures and also some curtains or blinds and make sure that your windows are treated to block the heat and reflect back solar energy in summer and also reduce the draft in winter. Also take care of house maintenance to avoid gaps around the house that leak heat and cool air.
Now I will give you tips about energy in your house in ways that will not harm the environment. It is recommended that you invest in solar panels so that you reduce your electricity bills and help the environment by emitting less carbon emissions than fossil fuels.

It would help you save electricity if you replace fluorescent light bulbs with LED or CFL bulbs. This is because they offer a longer life, they have a greater energy efficiency and produce fewer toxic metals. In addition, you can switch to smart power strips, as these sense when your device is in active use and cut power when it’s on standby.
Do you need to replace an appliance? If you do, shop around to get an eco-friendly, energy efficient one. Some other tips are to keep your appliances clean. For example, maintain your refrigerator by keeping coils free from dust or grime so as to draw less power and perform better. In the case of the clothes dryer, you should clean the filter because a dirty one is a fire hazard and wastes more energy to dry the clothes.
You should keep your electronics for at least seven years or donate them when you are done to help reduce electronics waste. Electronics contain toxins such as mercury, lead, beryllium, and arsenic, which can be harmful to the environment and our health.

Up next is some advice on the use of water in your household. You should install a home water reverse osmosis to filter your drinking water and make less use of single use plastic. It is also advisable to collect any wasted water during the filtration and use it again. Also, in the bathroom you should install a low-flow toilet as standard ones use up to 26.5 litres of water per flush while low-flow toilets use only 6 litres. Another idea is to invest in eco-friendly faucets and low-flow shower heads.
Now I will give you some tips related to gardening. Instead of throwing away kitchen scraps, create a compost bin as this will keep waste out of landfills and will create a nutrient-rich additive for your garden.
