OWNING A BULLDOG
Bulldogs are one of the most expensive dog
breeds to buy. This is because so many
puppies die at birth. It's also because bulldogs
often need extra care. Dog shows are good
places to start looking for a bulldog. This is
where top breeders show their dogs. These
breeders may be able to help people who want
to buy a bulldog. Local bulldog clubs have
names of good breeders.

CARING FOR A BULLDOG
Bulldogs do not require as much attention as
some dog breeds. If you are a owner of a
bulldog, you don't need to groom them a lot
because of their short fur. Bulldogs must be
brushed though once per week. They only get
bathed when needed. They can not stand much
heat. They must be cool themselves down by
panting. Panting is hard and fast breathing,
but their throats can swell by panting

A BULLDOG TODAY
Bulldogs are not usually angry. They are nice
and sweet with humans. They are the
friendliest out of many other dog breeds.
HEALTH PROBLEMS
Bulldogs can suffer from many health
problems. This is because most people did not
treat bulldogs years ago like we do today. Most
of the features that once made bulldogs really
good fighters, are very harmful to their health
today.

Bulldogs short flat noses can cause breathing
problems. Bulldogs are required to have daily
exercise. It is possible for a bulldog to become
over weight, which could lead to heart and
lung problems, as well as stress on the joints.
Bulldogs must be given plenty of shade and
water, and must be kept out of standing in
heat. Air conditioning units are required to
keep them safe and healthy.
