My Dad
He's kind
giving,
caring,
Loving,
being,
sharing.
He's gardening
working,
tilling.
Joking,
making,
and filling.
He's hammering,

teaching
and fixing.
Forgiving
forgetting,
and mixing.
He's my dear dad!

The Light of Day
I sit in a chair writing down notes,
about tigers, elephants, and Indians in boats.
I write down words
and scratch them out,
while watching the animals on there daily route.
I spy through my eyeglass,
a big and beautiful moose,
as he takes a bite of grass
and stretches his body until its real loose.
Now watch the pelicans take flight,
as the sun goes down
and the long hot day turns to night.
Me
different, curious
exaggerating,
thanking,
filling.
Just me!
Waldo
beautiful, sweet
running,
joking,
loving,
a wonderful horse.

Horses
fast, graceful
walks, trots, canters
They are magnificent and beautiful!
Horses
The animals
As the birth of a new
replaces the death of an old
the forest is quiet
for the animals are rejoicing.
Trees
Why cut down trees,
even if they fill our every needs?
The Deer
The lovely deer lives outside.
Sometimes he shows pride
but other times he must hide.
The Lands
When I was young,
I used to run and play
and make sculptures in clay
But now I'm old,
And don't do that stuff very much
So I've left the long wide land,
for today's children to grasp in each hand.
Timothy
Timothy turtle's toes tickle terribly today.
Harry and Hillary
Harry horse had hashbrowns with Hillary horsette.
My Brother's runny nose
My little brother,
looks so funny,
because when he smiles,
his nose is really runny.
Bears
Bears come out in the summer to play,
but in the winter go away.
They feast in the spring
and hear the birds sing,
But bears will always be here to stay.
The Court
What a gorgeous horse
