Masha lives in the country with her grandmother and grandfather. She is very nice and kind.

She likes to gather mushrooms and berries.

The Bear lives in the forest.  He is very big and strong. The Bear likes to walk in the forest. He likes to gather mushrooms and berries too.

One day Masha goes into the forest. She gathers mushrooms and berries with her friends.  From bush to bush, from tree to tree goes Masha. Soon Masha is lost. She is very sad. Suddenly she sees a house. The Bear lives in it.

Masha comes into the house. The Bear sees Masha and says, "Hello! I am the Bear. Stay and live with me"."Hello! I am Masha. Let me go, please". "No,Masha. I don`t let you go" say the Bear. So, Masha stays and lives with the Bear. 

Masha wants to see her grandmother and grandfather.
She decides to outwit the bear. She bakes pies and says, "The Bear! Bring the pies to my grandmother and grandfather. Don't eat the pies. I can climb the tree and see."
