Late last night, the light of the full moon shined
through Charlie's window and danced around his
room.
The light really bothered him. It was too bright to
sleep, so Charlie tried counting his toys... but it
didn't work.
He tried staring at his disco ball... but that didn't
work.
He tried hugging his teddy bear...but that didn't
work either. So Charlie closed his eyes and set
out on a great adventure.

When he opened his eyes, he was sailing on
a giant pirate ship!
He looked out at the ocean, and wondered
where he could sail to all by himself.
A mermaid waved at him in the distance, so
he followed her across the sea.

She led him to a big mountain with a
castle at the top.
"Cool!" Charlie thought as he sailed
toward it, being careful not to run into
any sea monsters.
When he reached the mountain, he
climbed to the top, and approached the
castle door- but he couldn't get in!

A ninja was waiting for him behind the
door, and he challenged him to one-on-
one combat.
Luckily, Charlie was a Master of Tae
Kwon Do.

Charlie won the battle, so the ninja
turned him into Medieval knight and
opened the door...
...but when he got inside the castle, he
was greeted by an angry monster.
Luckily, Charlie had read plenty of
books, so he knew how to defeat giant
monsters.

Once he defeated the monster, Charlie
found another door, but it was locked and
guarded by a large robot.
"Excuse me, Mr. Robot," Charlie said, "may
I please have that key?"
Luckily, Charlie had very good manners
and knew how to make friends, so the
robot gave him the key and he opened the
door.
