As a young boy, Mr. Ohana's did not have much. His family was close knit, yet vast. With many brothers and sisters, he had to share the little his dad was able to provide.

In a small, one bedroom home, Mr. Ohana's had to share the bedroom with both of his parents and his 8 siblings.
Mr. Ohana's is from an island on El Salvador. He comes from a very ambitious line of heritage.

Though he never felt negatively about his life, he always knew he was destined for more. His dad was a hardworking man, who showed him strength, courage, and how a father should love his children. These are things that Mr. Ohana's held onto throughout his life.

As Mr. Ohana's grew older, his dreams grew more and more. Although he loved his family, and was grateful for all they had done for him, he knew his destiny lay outside of El Salvador.

It was time he head off on his first, but greatest, adventure of all. Mr. Ohana's left El Salvador to head to the United States of America on his journey to find his destiny.

This idea was not one that came lightly. Mr. Ohana's thought long and hard about this decision. He thought of his family that he was leaving thousands of miles away.

Life was not so simple though when he arrived in the USA. He found himself in New York City, where he got a job in a local pizza parlor. Here he worked full time, learning many valuable lessons - along with some English.

This still was not quite what Mr. Ohana's was looking for. He knew there was more to his journey than this. He decided it was time for the next leg of his adventure - Any guess where to next?

It was off to the state of Florida for Mr. Ohana's. Not only was the population more Spanish speaking, but there he found a university that was calling his name. Florida International University - it was filled with people from all over the world. Here he decided to get comfortable, improve his English, and begin to settle down.

Every week, Mr. Ohana's visited this one particular restaurant; though it was not for the food. He could not stop thinking about the beautiful waitress that would serve him every time. He would even make sure to sit in her section just to talk to her.

Together they found a love for the beach, a love for adventure, and even a love for each other.
