Once upon a time, there was a boy called David who liked to play video games. David didn’t like to sleep since he didn't know how to fall asleep. So instead of sleeping, he played video games. David’s mom doesn’t like him playing video games too much. She wants him to do his homework and help out at home instead. David sometimes helped when he was bored. 

“David! Help me to do the laundry,” said Mom. David said “No. I want to play video games.” His mom was mad and said, “If you always play video games then your eyes will hurt and you will have bad eyesight.”  David didn’t care about his eyesight but he thought about his games. “If I help Mom do the laundry, then maybe I can play more video games.” David thought.

     David started to stay awake at midnight, and every night he played video games inside the blanket in secret. 

    One night he was playing his video games inside his blanket. His mom went to his room to check on him and saw some light inside the blanket and some movements. When she opened the blanket, she saw David playing video games.

“David!” Mom shouted.”Why are you playing games?” Mom said, "I just wanted to check on you and see if you were sleeping.” said his mom. 

“I can't fall asleep so I started playing video games!” said David. “Okay David, next time don't do that again or I will ground you for a long time, and this is your LAST CHANCE!” said mom angrily. But David didn't care. “Mom will never find out again” David thought. But he was not exactly right.

    David went to school the next day and made new friends called Andre and James who also liked to play video games but had strict parents too. 

    So they started to play video games secretly every night together online. 

But one day, Andre got caught and got grounded, and the next day at school, Andre told James and David about it, and they were super sad about it.

After David went home, David opened the game. He didn’t have a good teammate because Andre got grounded so he lost the game. 

    David started to rage and scream because he lost the game. David's mom  heard him and came into the room and caught him again, and David was now grounded too.
