Contribution of Recycling to the Country's Economy;
1.Waste is prevented, we obtain less waste.
2.It reduces the consumption of raw materials, thus making a direct contribution to the economy.
3.It saves energy, unnecessary energy usage is prevented.
4.Recycling provides extra economic benefits to waste collectors, thus creating a new business line, increasing employment and reducing unemployment.
5.It reduces the items that need to be imported from other countries, thus significantly reducing the import costs.
Contribution of Recycling to the Environment;
1.Recycling preserves trees, minerals and water resources. Thus, a new page is opened to all these “pollution sources”; a white and dirt-free page…
2.There is no need to search for new raw materials for the production of consumer goods, thus preventing both air and environmental pollution.
3.It makes an important contribution to global warming by causing a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions.
4.Garbage waste that will harm human health is prevented, so we contribute to our health by supporting nature.

NATURE CLEANING ON THE CEYHAN RIVER SIDES

Students from the National High School in Finance and Business in Sofia, Bulgaria participated in an event at school for a week. They collected paper and plastic separately and compared the amount of trash collected in different sacks. After the activity students had to do a research and suggest how they could recycle the materials. Finally students posted their findings in a padlet wall.
