Once upon a time, in a world where people came in all different colors, there was a little girl named Callie'Bee. Callie'Bee was a beautiful girl with dark, curly hair and big brown eyes. She loved to play outside, read books, and spend time with her friends.

One day Callie went to the park with her friends. They were playing on the swings, sliding down the slide, and having a great time. Suddenly, Callie heard some kids laughing and pointing at her. She turned to see what was going on and heard them say, "Look at her skin, it's so dark!"

Callie felt sad and embarrassed. She didn't understand why they were making fun of her because of her skin color. She went home and asked her mom why some people thought that being dark was not beautiful. Her mom sat down down with her and said, "Callie, you are beautiful just the way you are. Your skin color is not something to be ashamed of, it's something to be proud of. You are black, and being black is beautiful."

Callie's mom went in to explain to her that people come in all different colors, shapes, and sizes. She told her that black people, have contributed so much to the world, from inventing things to creating beautiful art and music. Callie's mom told her that being black is a part of her identity and that she should always be proud of who she is.

From that day on, Callie felt more confident and proud of her dark skin. She started to notice all the beautiful shades of black around her, from her mom's caramel skin to her friend's ebony skin. She realized black is not  just one color, but a beautiful spectrum of shades. Callie's friend's started to see the beauty in different shades of black, too. They started to notice the different shades of brown, from the lightest tan to the darkest chocolate. They saw how beautiful Callie's skin was and how it made her unique and special.
