Where's Bun?                       (As told by Weenie to Papa)

It had been a long tiring day with lots of fun and excitement.  It was now time for Weenie to put her nighties on and get in bed.  Mommy would soon be coming in to read some bedtime stories when Weenie realized she could not find Bun!

OH NO!   WHERE IS BUN?????  BUN IS MISSING!!!!!!!

BUN is Weenie's best stuffy friend and goes with her on all of her adventures.  She has gray fur and is about 8" tall with little paws and big fluffy ears.  

Weenie and BUN have been friends since she was a baby, and she loves her very much.  But now where can she be?

Weenie immediately asked Lammie, the big white Lamb, if BUN was hiding at the bottom of the bed.  "No" said Lammie, "none of the dolls or stuffies on the bed has seen BUN tonight."

"She was here this morning and then went along with you on your adventures today," said Lammie. 

 Weenie jumped out of bed and started her search.  First, she looked under her bed, but her little buddy, Squishie, told her, BUN has not stopped to play with him tonight.

 She inspected her closet and looked in the Treasure Chest, but there were no signs that BUN had been there.

"Maybe BUN went into my closet to play with the Treasure Chest," Weenie thought.

How about my dresser drawer?  The dolls and hamster kitty, who stay in the drawer, told Weenie none of them has seen Bun tonight but suggested she might be in Bubba's room playing with his stuffies.

Weenie went across the hall and into Bubba's room.  All of Bubba's stuffies, including his little buddies, were singing and playing games on his bed when Weenie came over.

"Is BUN in here playing games with you guys?" asked Weenie

"No, BUN hasn't been playing with us tonight.  But maybe she is in Bubba's closet with some other toys."

So, Weenie opened the closet door and called for BUN.  "BUN, are you hiding in here?"  There was no sound from inside Bubba's closet.  Oh no, thought Weenie, now I am getting worried!  I need BUN and BUN needs me!!!

Weenie headed to the living room and caught up with Lil' Donut.  "Is Bun in the toy box with you and your friends?  I know how much she likes to visit her toy box friends."

"No, BUN is not with us," said Lil'Donut.  "Is she next door on the shelf with the airplanes, cars and trucks?"
