Once there was a Koala family living in Australia. There was a mommy and daddy with three sisters.

                       In the Outback

They lived happily in their eucalyptus trees until one day when all the leaves started to dry out and fall off the limbs.

"Oh, no," said daddy. "If the leaves all fall off, we won't have any food!"

“I smell smoke coming from Uluru!” said mommy. “I think the outback is on fire!”

Deniz, the smallest koala sister started to cry. “I don’t want my home to burn.”

“We better go to the river to stay safe in the water,” said Saucier, the oldest sister.

So they went to the river and floated away until a ranger found them and rescued them by taking the family to the ranger station. The End.

                         Smart Birds

Once upon a time there were some birds who wanted to make nests. The bad thing was they didn’t know how!

The birds were named Elsa, Deniz and Iva. 

“Birds around my house make nests of mud”, said Elsa.

“EW, not mud! That’s too messy,” said Deniz. 

“It won’t be messy when the mud becomes clay,” said Iva.
