Our bicycle has two wheels, four pedals, two seats and two sets of handlebars. Its always leaning against the wall in the garage when I visit my grandpa, shiny and red and ready to ride.

After dinner, my grandpa will say, "Let's go for a bike ride before it gets dark." We will wash up and head out to the garage. He always checks the chain and the tires, helps me put on my helmet and then off we go!
We head down Sunset Street, the sun is a big orange ball hanging low in the sky.
Sunset Street has lots of houses and not very many cars. We wave to people as we pass by. Sometimes we stop and grandpa talks for a while. He REALLY likes to talk.
After we leave Sunset Street, we head into town. Our town is called Bethel and it is in Ohio. There is a big fancy building right in the middle that commemorates Ulysses S. Grant, who was the 18th president of the United States. He was born near Bethel and grew up in nearby Georgetown, Ohio!
We pass by The Blue Haven diner where grandpa and grandma and I eat lunch after church. And we pass by the Methodist church. Grandma sings in the choir on Sundays.
She has a high, warbly voice and she loves old hymns like "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Amazing Grace".
After the church comes Wichard's Oil where grandpa takes his car for service. We stop by the gas pump and the service man pretends to fill up our bicycle with gas, which makes me laugh.
