One day, there was a 

triceratops. She was watching 

her egg. She loved her egg. 

When it hatched she would 

name it Baby Tri.

Suddenly, a big volcano 

erupted! The triceratops ran 

away. But she forgot her egg.

A couple seconds later, Baby 

Tri hatched.

"Mommy?" asked Baby Tri. 

There was no answer. 

"Mommy?" she asked loudly. 

There was still no answer. She 

must be lost! thought Baby Tri. 

Suddenly, out from behind her 

cave, a big brontosaurus came.

"I'm Bronte." said the 

brontosaurus. "I'm Baby Tri." 

said Baby Tri. "Nice to meet 

you." said Bronte. "My mama 

is lost and I'm trying to find 

her." said Baby Tri. "I'd be 

happy to help." said Bronte. So 

off they went.

So they walked along. Then 

they heard something. "Hi!" 

What could it be?

"I'm Steggie." said Steggie. 

"Who are you?" "I'm Bronte." 

said Bronte.

"I'm Baby Tri." said Baby Tri. 

"Would you like to help me find 

my Mama?" "Sure." said 

Steggie.

So, they went on. Meanwhile, 

T-rex was spying on them.

Soon, they found a river up 

ahead. And a log that led to 

the other side. But what they 

didn't know is that T-rex was 

following them.

Suddenly, Bronte noticed T-

rex! As Steggie and Baby Tri 

crossed the river, Bronte tried 

to get T-rex. 

He was going to make him fall 

into the water!

Splash!

T-rex fell into the water. Now 

they were safe.

A few hours later, they came to 

a field.  

Then they noticed that 

somebody was chasing them!

It was Dilo the Dilophasaurus. 

"Hi, guys." he said. (Dilo was 

one of Bronte's friends). Bronte 

told him the story of Baby Tri. 

He wanted to help.

Next, they came into the mist. 

But then they saw T-rex! "I 

thought that you fell in the 

river!" said Bronte. "I 

escaped." said T-rex. "And now 

I'm gonna eat you!" "Ahhhhh!" 

said the gang.

"Don't worry!" said Dilo. "I 

know where it's safe!"
