This story starts off with a tomato named Tony. 

Tony the Tomato lives in a small town and often goes to the park to see his friend Susy the Strawberry.

"Hello Susy," Tony the Tomato said excitedly. 

"Hi Tony," Susy the Strawberry replied. 

"I'm so excited your mom let you play with me," Tony told Susy.

"Me too," she said back smiling.

Tony and Susy were going to play soccer, when Charlie the Carrot and Brent the Broccoli showed up.

Tony was now sad because they bullied him.

"Look it's Tony the Vegetable." Charlie said. 

"I'm a fruit Charlie." Tony replied.

Tony wanted to cry, but he did not want Charlie and Brent to laugh at him. 

"Let's go Tony." Susy told him.

"Run away Vegetable." Brent and Charlie yelled.

Susy and Tony left to go to his house.

"Are you okay?" Susy asked.

Tony did not want to tell her because he  was embarrassed. 

"I am fine." He replied.

"It's time for Susy to leave," Tony's mom said.

"Bye Tony," Susy told him.

"Bye Susy," Tony replied.

After she left, Tony began to cry. 

When Susy left, Tony's mom walked in. 

"Do you want to talk honey?" his mom asked. 

"Yes mom." Tony replied

They sat in Tony's room and talked about how he had been bullied for being different.

"I don't care that I am a fruit, but I am just tired of being called a vegetable." Tony told her

"I know honey," said his mom

"We can talk about this tomorrow if you want," his mom said. 

All Tony wanted to do was go to sleep.

"Goodnight Mom," Tony said.

"Goodnight Tony," his mom said.
