My name is Bella.  I just moved to Atlanta with my family. School starts tomorrow, and I'm most excited to take Art this year.

My favorite way to create Art is making animals out of paper.  I use old scraps of my dads work paper and make him little animals for his desk.

My favorite animal this week is a Seagull.  I found two strips of white spiral notebook paper that were twisted together on the table.  To me, it looked exactly like a Seagull.

Maybe thats what Art is about.  Using your imagination to create something new.  

I've created about a dozen animals out of beautiful , colorful paper.  One day, I was working on a black and white spotted cow and heard a mooing sound coming from under the table.

My mom thought it was me! When I peeked under the table, I was stunned to see a calf mooing for its mom. It was the size of my palm, but as real as can be!

Without a second thought, I picked it up ever so gently and placed it on the table next to the mommy cow that I had just finished creating. 

I don't know how my animals came to life, but I decided to do a little experiment. I made another animal from a different kind of paper. And, nothing happened. I realized it was the paper!
