Once there was a girl named Patience. She was like her namesake. She always had patience and worked hard to wait her turn. Then there was her sister.

Her sisters name was Ainia, which is Greek for "one who is swift". Just like her sister, she was like her namesake. When it was her turn to wait, she did not want to wait.

When it was time to wait in line, Patience had patience and could wait. She would pass the time thinking of all the tasks that she would do later.

Ainia on the other hand, did not have patience. She would instantly get mad and start to yell. Her mind was on all the things she was missing because of the line.

Patience loved waiting for the bus. Waiting for the bus allowed her to day dream and read her books. She relished her time waiting for the bus.

However, Ainia HATED waiting for the bus. She felt that it was a waste of time. All Ainia did while waiting for the bus was complain.

When it was time to wait for her birthday, Patience was cool as a cucumber. Waiting for her birthday was always a breeze and she could do it with ease.

I can wait!

Of course, Ainia, was not patient in the slightest when waiting for her birthday. She said that June was her birthday month and that they had to celebrate everyday.

It's my birthday month! Celebrate everyday.

Waiting for a big trip was something easy for Patience. She just remembered that she was blessed to be able to go on the trip.

I am blessed to go on this trip!

Ainia wanted to go on the trip as soon as she booked it. She thought that waiting wasn't fun and she just wanted to get to the fun.

We have to go NOW.

When playing board games patience was more than happy to wait her turn. She just thought about what she might do on her next turn.

This is fun. What will I do on the next turn?
Even before Ainia's turn was coming up she was already trying to move her pawn. She thought everyone else could just try and catch up to her.

You guys can just catch up with me.
