Once upon a time, there lived a boy called Bob.
Bob was a boy who always wanted to be a pirate.
That’s what he would do just before bedtime. He
would always hold his wooden sword and wave it
around his head like a pirate possessed.
One day while Bob was playing in the attic, and
he fell over. A few boxes tumbled over and
suddenly, a steel sword and an ancient map were
revealed which had his grandfathers name on it.
Bob could not be any happier.

That day, Bob asked his mother if he could
journey to the point on the map for the thing
his grandfather so desired. His mother replied
with a serious harshness in her tone. "No Bob"
was the answer.
Bob sulked and went to his room to cry. There
was no hope. Then suddenly Bob had an idea!

Later that night, Bob devised a plan to escape
from his room and to travel to a pirate ship. He
filled his backpack with maps of the ocean, his
telescope, his chipped wooden sword and most
importantly his teddy bear.
As he sat in bed waiting for dawn to break the
next day, he imagined the adventures he
would come across, fighting hordes of other
pirates and sailing the seven seas.

The next day, he sat up and rubbed his eyes.
The sun was high in the sky and birds chirped
softly in the rustling trees yet his mum was
resting peacefully.
Bob slowly crept outside, careful not to awake
his mum. Hugging his teddy bear tightly to his
chest, he trudged to Pirate Bay, a pirate dock
where pirates would spend the night.

No sooner had Bob left his house, a parrot
fluttered to his shoulder. Bob felt like a pirate
already. Bob reached Pirate bay, and saw a
ship in the distance. The parrot spoke to Bob
and said that the pirate ships crew were having
a hearty lunch in Pirate Inn.
On he went aboard the ship and released the
anchor. Raising the sails, Bob was off. He
chuckled to himself as the pirate crew had
finished their lunch, seen what had happened
and ran for their stolen ship. In they jumped in
the cold water with a big "SPLASH!" However
they were too late!

The ship set sail and Bob felt the wind on his
cheeks. As soon as Bob left the harbour, he
felt a rush of adrenaline as he prepared to
venture the lost seas.

Bob sailed for days and days and days but
there was no sign of an island that was marked
on the map. Bob kept going but he began to
feel tired. The ship was not in good condition
either, Bob needed to get it repaired soon.
As all hope was fading, Bob finally saw an
island in the distance. He lowered the sails and
in a short amount of time, he reached the
island and beached the ship.
