This is Rylee. She is ready to start her day.

Rylee needs to cross the street to buy a coffee before work. She wants to be safe when crossing the street by herself.

There is a crosswalk just down the street. This is the safest place for Rylee to cross.

Rylee needs to wait for the signal to walk.

This is the signal to stop and wait. Sometimes it will have a countdown for you to see. When this sign is lit up that means it is not safe to cross.

The walk signal tells you when to cross the street.

Rylee can push the button that is located on the nearest pole. She has to wait for the signal to change to WALK after she has pushed the button. If there is not a button, just wait for the walk signal or for the street to be clear of vehicles.

Now it is time for Rylee to cross the street.
