A long time ago there lived a beautiful 

princess named Kate. She loved to sing all 

day and all night. When she wasn't singing, 

she was walking through the woods talking 

and making friends with all the woodland 

animals.

Princess Kate had a sweet little sister named 

Lily. Lily loved to dance. She danced from the 

time the sun rose till the time the sun set.

Princess Lily did not like to walk in the woods with 

her sister, she liked to walk through town meeting all 

the people and most of all dancing to the music.

              Princess Kate and Princess Lily

            lived in a wonderful palace 

    with their parents, 

           the King and Queen. 

Everyone loved the princesses 

but the princesses 

did not love everything 

about being royalty. 

These two princesses dreamed of growing up 

and becoming famous for their singing and 

dancing.

One day while Princess Kate was alone in her royal 

bedroom, a fairy godmother came through her window 

and listened to her magical singing. She was surprised 

someone could sing so beautifully. When Kate was 

finished she saw the fairy godmother and asked her 

why she was in he bedroom. The fairy godmother 

replied with delight, "I am here to grant you one wish. 

You can wish for anything but it can only be one wish." 

Kate knew exactly what she wanted and shouted with 

excitement,"I wish to sing so the whole world will be in 

love with me!" "You're wish is granted" said the fairy 

godmother as she waved her magic wand and 

vanished.

Next the fairy godmother flew into princess Lily's 

royal bedroom and saw her dancing just as 

wonderfully as her sister was singing. When Lily 

was finished, she saw the fairy godmother and 

asked why she was in her room. The fairy 

godmother said, "I was with your sister and 

granted her one wish and now I am here to do 

the same for you. It can be anything you would 

like but can only be one wish." Princess Lily 

knew exactly what she wanted and replied, "I 

wish to dance so the whole world will be in love 

with me!" "You're wish is granted." She waved 

her magic wand again and vanished.
