on a hot summer day. She was very bored. "Nellie, what
should we do?" Anna asked her trusty canine sidekick.
Nellie seemed like she wanted to go inside. So Anna went
into her room. Nellie followed.

Every shelf overflowed with books. Every kind of book you
could imagine. Big books, little books, children's books,
you name it. Anna had it all. And she had read them
all. Just looking at all the books she had already
read bored her. Anna was desperate for a new book,
but none of these would cut it. She wanted something
new and exciting.

captured her attention. She ran towards the door to the attic. Anna
had never bothered to go in there because there was nothing fun in
it. At least, that's what she thought. If she had never been in there,
how could she know for sure? Anna stepped up to the door. It
creaked open without her even touching it. Nellie ran inside
and Anna followed.

There was a desk with an open book and
a large box covered by a sheet. Nellie
seemed excited by the box and it
fascinated Anna. There could have been
anything in there!

What could possibly

excited as Nellie, pulled the sheet off eagerly. A dusty
wooden trunk lay beneath it. Anna cautiously opened it.
The hinges creaked, and the box looked empty. Anna
moved closer, and a flash of light suddenly filled the room.

to make any noise at all. Lots of little magical stars
showered around them. The box's lid slammed shut.
The last thing Anna saw was the room returning to
dark again.

of warm, fresh water. Anna stuck out her tongue and tasted it. It was the
sweetest water she had ever drunk. And she had had lots of water. The
magical flavor of this glorious water enthralled Anna, and she began
wildly thrashing in the water.

Where was she? Anna and Nellie swam closer to the rock he sat on, admiring his
flowing, inky black, Harry Styles-like mane.

the fall, "where did all this water come from? It's the best water I've ever
had." Anna took another sip. The merman smiled mischievously. "I made it."
Anna eyed his tail with suspicion. "You...you made it? But how?" "Magic."
He winked at Anna, then dove into the water and swam away. "Well, that was weird,"
Anna said to Nellie. Nellie nodded her little head in agreement.

mystical water. They were on a dry, flat area of sand. A few buildings were visible
in the distance. Anna saw a few names like Water Supply, Lotion Inc., and
Pens & Co. All of these stores sold strangely specific things that she used very
often. She decided to go check them out.

They had never seen so much at once before. She ran
towards the water cooler, putting her mouth under the
faucet and turned it on. It was just as good, if not better,
than the merman's water. What Anna would have given to
have one of these back home! A voice interrupted Anna's
blissful water drinking.

"THE ANNA CHRONICLES"
Follow the adventurous Anna and her lovable, unimportant-to-the-plot dog Nellie on their journey to the majestic town of Yrgbjhyt. There they encounter sweet merman water, a hateful robot, and a series of strangely specific stores. The rest you'll have to find out by reading this poorly written story. The author's lack of effort and commitment really shows, and the inconsistent plot makes you grateful for the few parts that do make sense. Go ahead, read it! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll scream in frustration, and you'll have a whole lot of fun! Maybe.
