Super Joey!

Joey was in school when
a bully, Fredrick, came up to
him and stole his Reese’s.
Then Fredrick just
found out he was allergic to
peanut butter, and then Joey ended up in the principal’s office because he got blamed.
Chapter 1
Joey thought it was going
to be a normal day of the
5th grade but something
happened! In the afternoon
he was ready to go home, so he hopped on the bus. It
started thundering, but Joey left the window open, so it
electrocuted him. Then for
the rest of the ride he was knocked out.
When it was his stop, the bus driver saw Joey was asleep, so she honked the horn to wake him up. Joey got up and walked off the bus into the house.
“Are you ok, Joey?” Mom said.
“I’m fine.” Said Joey. “It was just a bad day.”
If only it was just a bad day.
Joey told mom everything
that happened and that
he might have super powers!
She said: “Yeah I don’t think so.”
Joey’s sister, Ceci, who is in the fourth grade, was about to get some water, and he wanted to prove it to Mom.
She said: “ ok now I believe you!”
Chapter 2
“Family meeting!”
Mom said. “ Joey said he wants to be a superhero. Does any one object?”
No one raised
Their hand!
“ welp,” Joey’s mom said, “you just got a one way ticket to be a superhero!”
“Wow!” said Joey
“One more thing before we
Leave!” Mom said. “ If anyone tells Joey’s secret identity you’ll be dead
because then the bad guys
will know who we are!
“Now, Joey, you need a
costume. I got just the
thing!” She pulled out an old costume Joey
made 2 years ago he put it on and it felt just right!
