was finally able to lift the boulder from it's

When the King saw the sword and sandals
he fell to his son hugging him. Theseus
became the Prince of Athens

the day Crete picked young men
and women to be sent to the horrible Minotaur.
A beast that is half man and half bull on the island
Crete. Seven men and Seven women are chosen
to be sacrificed to this beast.

sound of a monster and adventure
and pledged he will beat the Minotaur.
With his heart set, Theseus set off for
Crete

into Crete. All but Theseus pale and
scared. Theseus told the king of Crete
his plan but the king only laughed at
Theseus's bravery.

daughter Ariadne fell in love at first
sight with Theseus. Later that night
she sneaked to Theseus's cell and told him, she will help him.
She gave him one end of a yarn
and told Theseus that this will help him wander the Minotaur's
cave without getting lost

sounds and smells of the Minotaur trailing the yarn
behind him. Until finally he came across the lair of the
Minotaur who has not yet seen Theseus.
