People love their pets and want to spoil them, especially around the holiday season. 

Where do I come in on this? Well, I'm a crocheter with an Etsy shop, selling homemade goods as a side hustle. 

This year, the demand 

for crochet cat couches 

is more than before, 

I can't keep up!

I need to find a way to produce 25 cat couches by December 1st in order to get them shipped for the holidays. 

I have to get all the yarn and materials needed to produce them all 

I'm going to figure out how to do this. It takes about 20 hours per couch. I can do one of the following to reach my goal:

- Hire crochet artists to help me

- Quit my full time job to crochet all of these

- Decline orders 

Lets think this through...

- If I hire people to help, I'll have to pay them, which will decrease my profit. I will have to take time to teach them the pattern to ensure uniformity amongst the cat couches.

- If I quit my job I will definitely be able to get these done. Once the orders are complete though, how will I have an income? 

- I could accept the first 10 orders, I know I can fulfill those in time. Then I would be letting potential future customers down. 

Ok, I've made my decision...I'm going to hire crochet artists to help me! I can't let my customers down & a girl's gotta eat...

As I sit here on Christmas Eve, watching people's videos that they've tagged me in of their loved ones opening their cat couches, I'm so glad I was able to fulfill every order for my customers.
