Brownie! Wake up!

Brownie woke up to the sound of CJ, his owner, calling his name. Brownie wondered what CJ wanted to do today. He hoped it was something new and exciting. After all, they had just moved to a new house in the woods.

CJ led Brownie outside. "Let's go explore the woods together!" he said. Brownie was thrilled! This was just what he had in mind for today.

But before they could get far in the woods, Brownie and CJ saw a big, brown snake. "Eek!" yelled CJ. Brownie didn't wait to find out what would happen, he took off running!

Brownie kept running and running, deep in into the woods. Suddenly, he ran into another dog, a big yellow one.
"Who are you and where am I?" Asked Brownie.
"My name is Fenway, and I'm lost too. Let's try to find home together!" He said.

Brownie and Fenway started wandering around, not sure where to go. Everywhere they went, they couldn't get out of the woods. "Are we ever going to find home?" Brownie asked. He was starting to get a little worried.

Suddenly, they found a clearing in the woods. "We made it!" Shouted Fenway. But this clearing didn't look like home. They walked a little further and found a large, open land, golden and empty. It was a desert! Where were they?

Brownie and Fenway decided their best chance of finding home was to come back the way they came. They left the desert and went back into the woods. They saw an owl in one of the trees.
"Mr. Owl!" yelled Fenway. "Do you know where we are? We are lost and trying to find our home."
