The truth is, the world's been falling apart for all of existence. And...sometimes that's a hard thing for us to grasp. A lot of the time, this struggle to understand what's really happening begins to get overwhelming, and we begin to think up our own ideas of how and why the world is what it is. We begin to stray from Him. The one who changed EVERYTHING...

Yes, His name is Jesus, and He loves you. Nothing can ever compare to the love He has for you, and He came for us. But, of course, just like everyone and everything...He struggled. 

He came to die for us, but not after he had performed many...many  miracles. He healed the sick, brought people back to life, helped the blind to see, but most importantly...He opened the gates of heaven for us. So that we could live eternally with Him. There was only one problem...

We were big, dirty, rotten, sinners...and we didn't deserve the light that he brought. We didn't deserve anything. We sinned. We turned away from God. We needed some serious help. 

But that's what Jesus was for. To save us from our sins and be the perfect sacrifice, because with Him could every sin be demolished. Everything that we ever did wrong could be cleansed in His righteousness. Nothing could ever take Him away from us....Not even death itself.

But before Jesus could die, He had to give his disciples instructions as to what to do when He was gone. He broke bread and said "This is my body" and he lifted the wine cup and said "This is my blood." Today, in church, we still receive the bread and wine as a symbol of Christ's body and blood. 

Then, Jesus was forced to carry His cross up the hill, all by Himself.
