"Pardon me, but what's your name?" The allay asked. (I will be referring to him as Ally from now on for simplicity's sake."
"I'm Alex," The girl said while stepping down to our level. "Nice to meet you!" She held out her arm for a handshake. I promptly took it.
"My name is Steve," I said. "And do you know anything about the Alter? Anything at all? I sure don't."
"Unfortunately, no." Alex answered. "Nobody really does, except for the Resistance. And they don't share a damn thing with the public."
"Huh," I said. "Well, Ally here is part of the Resistance."
"That's right!" Ally said. "I can tell you all you need to know about the Alter, and his armies! Now, granted, we don't know everything, in fact, we know very little."
"So, what do you know?" Alex asked.
"Well," Ally responded. "We know that his main base of operations is in the end. We also know that he plans out most of his attacks with this magical map."
Ally pulled out a piece of paper. It looked normal.
"It may look normal," Ally explained. "But trust me, it's magic. Wherever the Alter plans to attack next, a path to it will appear on this map.
"Unfortunately, is seems as though he placed a spell to prevent us from seeing it." Ally continued.
"Well, that sucks," Alex said. "Time to go kill him!"
"Woah!" Ally interrupted. "You can't just walk up to the most powerful being in all the three dimensions and expect to kill him!"
"Of course I can," Alex said. "Watch me."
"Watch you?"
Alex walked to the right. "Hey, you!" she called.
"Oh my Notch!" Ally exclaimed. "He's found us, and he brought his allies!"
"Wait!" I called. But Alex ignored me. She rushed towards the enemies. I thought for sure she was dead, but I was wrong. She actually put up one hell of a fight. She skillfully swung her sword and struck at all the right moments. She clearly had experience in combat.
