JULY
Sunday
A week passed since my last book, and today I found out that in September, on the next level of school, skills are gonna be put to the test. This means that leveling up is gonna be a lot harder than it was, and villagers need to get to level 200 to pass. That might not seem like much, but this year, it is gonna be MUCH harder to level up than it used to. So this is going to be really tough. And the thing is, this year the higher your scores get, the harder it is level up.
Monday
Tomorrow I have to go to a meeting at the town hall with a bunch of the elders, basically the people who organize the village. The people are all the ones who have done well last time at school. Apparently something is going to happen...
Tuesday
Today I had to go to a meeting at the town hall with the mayor and the elders and some students, including Max and Butch. At the meeting, we learned about a guy named Herobrine who apparently controls all the mobs. Herobrine is also willing to pay FIVE HUNDRED emeralds to any villager who joins him. Thankfully, the students who have no chance do not know this, and there are serious consequences if anyone tells them.

This is Herobrine. Apparently, a long time ago, he was just a regular guy named Brine. But then something happened that changed everything. And I mean not in a good way.
Wednesday
After finding about Herobrine, I was honestly a little spooked. I decided to go out and get some ice cream with Max and Butch, who also seemed spooked. We all figured some time to relax would help us.

Thursday
Today a wave of zombies attacked. They had leather helmets, so they didn't burn in the sun. Thankfully, we fended them off.
AUGUST
Friday
Last night, a wave of skeletons attacked. This time, they were unequipped, except for their bows and arrows, so they shot as fast as they could, knowing they only had a matter of time. But daylight came, and soon the skeletons burned to death.
Saturday
Something really bad happened today. About three or four students from the school found out about Herobrine's payment, and immediately took up the offer. I haven't identified who it is yet. Some people near the bottom. Samsand said his older brother, Redsand, accepted Herobrine's payment a few years ago. He said that the villager will turn completely black and has blood-red eyes instead of emerald green. I did my best to match his description with a drawing.
Samsand also said that Redsand went to a bamboo jungle to start a bamboo farm, he got attacked by what he described as a giant orange ocelot with black stripes all over. None of us had ever heard of it before. He said that Herobrine puts a spell, but the chemicals have to get inside somehow. Since Redsand had wounds from the attack, he was easily infected. I tried to draw what the attack looked like.

Sunday
I spent most of today trying to find out who accepted Herobrine's offer. But since it is the summer, it won't be too easy to figure out. I should probably wait until school starts again. I could just notice who isn't at school and solve it easily.
Friday
I pretty much spent the whole week trying to find out who betrayed us. Long story short, I didn't.
Saturday
While I haven't found who did it, I have a lot of suspects. I mainly just flipped to the back of the Ranking Book and looked at it.
Patrick 34
Aborgah 31
Moff 28
Otto 24
Kayden 23
Joey 22
Brett 21
Clock 19
Blepple 13
Oofoo 5
I saw Aborgah yesterday, and I saw Kayden and Brett today at the ice cream stand. I also saw Joey and Patrick trying to sell a poor stone pickaxe to a blacksmith for five emeralds, I guess trying to get better at trading or get some emeralds. I haven't seen Moff, Clock, or Blepple in a while, and I have no idea what Otto and Oofoo are doing. So I guess I can narrow down the list to just five, or maybe check the second-to last page of the Ranking Book.
Sunday
Well, I think I've found the three culprits. You won't believe who they were: My former enemies. I thought they had their cool with me. I guess I was wrong. It was BLEPPLE, CLOCK, and MOFF. I noticed it when their names disappeared from the last page of the Ranking Book
Patrick 34
Aborgah 31
Otto 24
Kayden 23
Joey 22
Brett 21
Oofoo 5
Hotah 3
Wovoka 2
Sintemaza 1
Apparently, three new kids named Hotah, Wovoka, and Sintemaza joined us from the Forest Village. I guess that's why their names don't seem ordinary. I heard that the villagers from their split off to different villages.
Thursday
I haven't had the chance to write for two and a half weeks. The month is close to being over, which means back to school soon. The competition will be very stiff this year, as more villagers are retreating from the Forest Village. I've heard those villagers are very skilled at things like combat, constantly being attacked by the mobs being in the middle of a forest. We've had to spend the last few weeks building new homes for them to stay in, and extended the walls by 200 blocks in length.
SEPTEMBER
Sunday
I'm lucky to be able to write today. Tomorrow, school starts, which is not going to be fun, and eleven new villager kids my age have come to the school. We had to expand it for the last few days, but thankfully, good students got to take the day off.
Monday
The first day of the new school year was today. It was a lot harder than before, since there are 14 new students, minus the three noobs that left, there are now 161 students. These new students are really good too.

My record book does look pretty good for one day, but I am right now rank 9, which is respectable, but there definitely is a lot more challenge. (I showed eleven students. Eight of them are from Forest Village.

I also managed to get a peek at two of the new student's record books, and found something surprising about their scores.

So, most of their scores are in combat. This means that I should probably focus more on the other five aspects, since I have no chance of passing them in combat. I told Max and Butch this, and there is a building test in two weeks. Unfortunate for us, though, Hotah's building score is REALLY high, but Suthley's is not so good. So I guess building might just be a variable for them.
Tuesday
I am REALLY not liking this Hotah kid so much. I have to respect his combat, since he would destroy me in a fight, but he is so cocky. Today, during the first class, Hotah whipped out his record book and showed it to everyone

Then, in third period, which I unfortunately have with him, he whipped out his book AGAIN and showed it to the class. One boy named Sammy asked him for help with combat, and he just went like "My trading score is so low. I need to improve it." "Yeah, you really do." Max said. He showed us his trading score of 58.
But you won't BELIEVE how Hotah said next. "I'd recommend you shut up because I could DESTROY you in a fight with your measly combat score of 16." "Hotah, quit your yippity-yapping." said another new kid. It was Sintemaza. "My combat score is even higher than yours." He had a combat score of 95! Wow! And I thought that Forest Village kids all RESPECTED each other. Hotah must've known what I was thinking. "Yeah, mostly, but, everyone hates this one kid named Markeith. His combat score is only 25."
Wednesday
Well, I've brought good news today. They decided to have the building test EARLY after Hotah's constant boasting, but me, Max, and Butch had all prepared for it. It was groups of 1-3. Kids like Hotah and Winnemucca went solo, but Sintemaza, Wovoka, and Suthley teamed and snagged second place. But my team got first.

My building score didn't improve too much, since this is a lot harder than it used to be. The teachers are getting more strict, but jokes on Hotah, because he got 19th place!

Thursday
Today, a kid named Sparks challenged Hotah to a duel. Hotah laughed and took out his ENCHANTED DIAMOND SWORD. Man, Hotah is dumb for taking that. Sparks isn't good at much, but his redstone ability is LEGENDARY. He made a TNT cannon when he was only two years old. I think Hotah saw it as an easy win, but Sparks had other ideas.
Sparks chugged a speed potion and ran. Hotah stepped on a pressure plate and fell into a pit. It soon filled itself up with stone, and even with an enchanted iron pickaxe, Hotah couldn't do much. That was the last any of us saw of him. Then, Freddy, a fisherman villager, used his fishing rod to hook Hotah and flung him in the air a few times. Eventually, the hook snagged Hotah's record book, and then, Sintemaza used his sword to cut it up, leaving Hotah having to cough up fifty emeralds. And since it was after school, they couldn't do anything about it, and the mayor didn't want to punish Sparks because of his legendary redstone abilities. (And he said that Hotah's constant boasting was no way for a warrior to behave, so Hotah would be the one punished.)

Friday
I guess that Hotah was really mad at Sparks for yesterday, because today he brought in... a brown polar bear? I haven't seen one of these before, it must be from the forest. The brown polar bear then lunged at Sparks, but Sintemaza chopped its head off, and told Hotah he was telling on him for bringing a "grizzly bear" to the school.

Saturday
I guess the mayor was really mad at Hotah for what happened yesterday. I was in the area. I heard the mayor scold Hotah. I saw Hotah leave the village for good. "Bringing in a dangerous animal to the school and attempting to murder possibly the biggest redstone genius of all time? Unforgiveable. Hotah Mobslayer, you are hereby banished from this village!"
Sunday
I am kind of looking forward to school, since that stupid Hotah was banished from the village. But just because he's not here to ruin my school life doesn't mean he can't be a threat. He's insanely good at combat. The only person I know who is better than him is Sintemaza. He might even start working with HEROBRINE.
Monday
Last night I had a huge nightmare. I dreamed about Hotah bringing in a bunch of dangerous creatures that I have never seen before, including those "grizzly bears" (are they really just polar bears made out of poo?) and those giant orange ocelots with stripes. I saw him working with Herobrine and the traitors, with a huge army of mobs, attacking our village. (Forgive me for drawing way too many pictures on the next page, okay? Thanks.)

As you can probably imagine, this was not an ideal thing to dream about on a school night. Still, I felt like all of these things were seemingly real, I mean, isn't it possible that they're just supersized ocelots, since this one looks like one? (besides being much bigger, obviously) There were also these giant gray ocelots. (Maybe they're stone or iron to be extra tough? I also see emerald things, but they look like they're made of emeralds. Are they just genetically modified creepers that are supersized? I spent a TON of time drawing these after school. Bye for now.

Tuesday
Today in Mining Class we began digging out a ton more in the safe tunnels. We were supposed to collect as much cobblestone as possible so we could build more, since the village's inventory is running low on cobblestone. By the time Mining Class was over, we were able to get about 30 stacks of it. This should last a while. Then I had my next class: Advanced Combat. I already passed Introduction to Combat and Intermediate Combat. It is for all of the people good at combat, or they have to have passed Intermediate Combat AND Introduction to Combat.
Wednesday
Advanced Combat was kind of boring. Most of the stuff was things I already knew, and I'm not looking forward to the next level of combat, which is Prenether. But after Prenether, things get interesting with the Introduction to Nether Combat. I've been inside the Nether before, but I've heard that we even go to places like BASTIONS.
Thursday
I had another dream about Hotah last night. This time, Hotah said he was getting much stronger and he was coming for me, Max, Butch, Sintemaza, Sparks, and Freddy. He said he is going to find the secret to why Herobrine is so powerful, join Herobrine, and wreak havoc on our village until the end of his days.
Tuesday
I was so spooked about the dream about Hotah that I didn't write for a few days. But anyways, I'm back, with improved grades.

I checked the Ranking Book, and since Hotah was exiled, he is no longer on it. (I just fit as many as I could, if you're wondering why there are exactly seventeen names here.)
Friday
Today I tried to tell the elders my dreams about Hotah. They said not to worry about it and that there are no supersized ocelots or genetically modified creepers with massive mouths. So I WARNED them, but they didn't listen. However, some of the students, like Max, Butch, Sintemaza, Suthley, Zayne, and Wovoka believed me.
