Ellie the elephant lives in the Sahara desert with her mom and her friends!

Ellie's best friend is Gerald the Giraffe. They are two peas in a pod. Gerald invites Ellie to go play a game. 

"Sure! Let me go ask my mom," Ellie says.

Ellie comes home. "Hey mom! Can I go play with Gerald?" Ellie asks, hopefully.

"Sure! Have fun," Her mom replies. 

"But come back as quick as a cheetah once its dark! " 

Ellie thanks her mom and goes to play.

Ellie and Gerald are walking to their favorite play spot. They decide to play a game! 

"Let's play explorers!" Ellie says. "Well," Gerald replies, "I think we should play hide and seek it would be WAYYYYYY more fun."

Ellie is upset because she wants to play explorers. Gerald is upset because he wants to play hide and seek. They both are not talking to each other.

Then, Ellie realizes her friendship with Gerald is more important than which game she wants to play, and decides to come up with an idea to compromise.

Ellie has an idea for a compromise so they can both play a game!
