Once upon a time there was a cat named Luna who would sneak out of her house and everyday she visited the garden. She loved to go sniff the roses. It made her feel joyful.

One afternoon Luna went to the garden and realized the rose bushes were gone except one little rose. She started to feel sad and bit off the little rose. She carried it in her mouth and took it inside her home. She put the rose in a secret place where nobody can find it. 

Luna wondered why the roses were all gone except one. The next day she went outside to investigate what had happened. She saw her human and noticed she had a puzzling look on her face as she stared at the spot where the rose bushes use to be.  Luna went over the fence to see more. Then she found a bird with roses in its mouth. She started to hiss at the bird. 

Luna started to feel angry after discovering the bird had the rose in its mouth. She looked up and noticed more birds carrying roses in their mouths. Luna was furious because her favorite roses were taken by the birds. She planned to get those roses back. 

Her plan was to get the roses back. So that night Luna went out, climbed up the tree and snuck up on the birds as they slept. She quickly grabbed the roses with her paws. She grabbed as many as she could. She had to be as careful as possible so the birds wouldn’t notice. 

Luna quietly crawled down the tree with the roses in her mouth and in between her front paws. All of a sudden the birds woke up and heard sounds from Luna’s steps going down the tree and onto the ground. Luna started to feel bad for taking the roses from the birds. The birds flew down. Luna says, “I’m sorry” to the birds. The birds reply, “It’s okay we shouldn’t have taken the roses from the garden”. 

Luna placed the roses in her human’s garden where the rose bushes once were. She went inside feeling happy and like a hero. She felt tired and went to sleep. The next morning her human found the roses laying in the garden and felt happy. She somehow realized Luna had something to do with it and wanted to reward her.
