Hatchet 

Chapter 1

Hi! My name is Brian. 

I crash landed a plane. 

Now I have to survive on my own. 

When I go out of the water, mosquitoes came 

at me and bit me!

I found a bowl-like shelter. 

Now I've found a place to live. 

I found a bush filled with bitter and delicious 

berries. 

Later, I found out how to make a fire. 

I found   how to make a fire.

I also built a spear.

Now I can catch fish with the spear. 

Then I found bark for the fire. 

When I was sleeping one day, I hit a 

porcupine. 

After I squeezed the juice out of the delicious 

berries. 

One day I saw a bear. I thought it was going 

to eat me. But it just wanted the berries. 

I have made a storage place for my food. 

And I also found some turtle eggs. I ate them 

but they where slimy and nasty!

I ate the turtle eggs, but then I found out the 

raccoon had started eating them. 

Then I soot the racccoon away.

I heard an airplane engine. 

I went to my shelter and got a piece of bark 

and set it a fire to make a smoke signal. 

Then he looks for fool birds. 

Then I learned how to shot a rabbit. 

I heard a loud sound. It was a moose. 

The moose pushed me in the water and I could 

barely breath.
