As the thunder clapped, the sign appeared for the chariot race. Zeus and Apollo galloped to the sign that says the date of the chariot race. Apollo thought, "as long as we build this chariot on time, this race will be ours." Apollo turned to Zeus and said, "Are you ready to build?"

Zeus Apollo
Zeus grabbed the tool box from the workshop "Larry's Toolbox." He grabbed a box labelled "Only for Chariots." Then he headed to the building slot and started to build.

First, he grabbed the hammer and went BAM! Next, he added boards CLANG! CLANG! Then, added the wheels SCREECH! SCREECH! Finally, they painted SWISH! SWISH! Zeus wanted yellow for lightning bolts, and Apollo wanted silver for arrows

They exclaimed as they had finished their masterpiece. Apollo and Zeus kept disagreeing on who was going to find the tigers. At last, they both agreed on something. Apollo was going to find one tiger and Zeus was going to find the other one. So Apollo went up first and he was trembling with fear as he stepped into the forest.

It felt like years went by, as they journeyed through the trees. Finally, they heard heavy footsteps nearby. Apollo felt sweat beads on his face as he came face to face with two tigers. Yikes!!

He gulped loudly as the tiger walked up. Then the first tiger rubbed his soft face against his cheek. The other tiger licked Zeus's face. The boys roped the tigers and brought them back to the chariot.

There stood Apollo and Zeus's chariot. It was wooden and painted half silver and half yellow. Some of the paint wasn't completely dry yet. There was a soft rope that tied the tigers to the front in order to lead, and smooth wheels so that the chariot could drive on the bumpy road. Apollo and Zeus grabbed their chariot and headed to the race. They quickly saw the flag: Ready, Set, GO!!
