This book is dedicated to all of the people in our lives that supported us before, during and after our "moo"ve. We are thankful for the guidance, patience and love we received from our family, friends, and farm community. Our journey led us from Washington to Wisconsin and now both states feel like home because we love people in both places.

Valley Gem Farms

Crazy, but true. This is the story of a farmer named, Grewe.

 Roy, Gina and 

3 boys, too. 

The family had to look for a new farm 

where the future would be bright.

Near Seattle, 

the city was squeezing too tight.

Leaving family & friends was hard, 

It isn't easy to say goodbye.

They hoped for greener pastures ahead-

they had to try!

With truck and trailer they moved to the Midwest-

they heard that was where dairy farming was best!

Home is where the herd is-Wisconsin or bust. 

Moving all the critters was a must!

We were welcomed to the Island City with arms open wide.
