What we thought would last
But slowly, Kori started to remember the happy times she had with Nakime. She thought about all the times they laughed t
ogether, all the secrets they shared, and all the dreams they talked about. Kori realized that even though Nakime was gone, she would always be a part of her life. She would always remember the love they shared and the memories they made.
The end.
So pretty, it hurts
It was a sunny day in August when Lucia met Norma for the first time. They were both 17, and they had just started their senior year of high school. Lucia was dating Brad, Norma's younger brother, and they had been together for a few months.
Lucia was sitting in the living room of Brad's house, waiting for him to come back from his soccer practice. Norma walked in, and Lucia couldn't help but notice how pretty she was. She had brown hair and hazel eyes, and she was wearing a vintage dress that suited her perfectly.
"Hey, Lucia," Norma said, smiling warmly at her. "How are you doing?"
"I'm good," Lucia replied, trying to hide her nervousness. "Just waiting for Brad to come back."
"Oh, okay. Do you want something to drink?"
"Sure, thanks."
Norma went to the kitchen to get Lucia a glass of water, and Lucia couldn't help but admire her from afar. She had always been attracted to girls, but she had never acted on it before. She had never been in a relationship with a girl, and she didn't know how to approach Norma without making things awkward.
