Quant supercar has been give the all clear for road testing in Germany.  Unlike most electric vehicles using lithium ion based battery packs, the Quant e-Sportslimousine uses flow cell technology which was first developed by NASA for the space program.  Redox flow cells are used in many applications to store electricity from the likes of wind generators and solar installations.  This is a first for using this type of technology (as far as we know) for a vehicle.
