Open road ahead, the sun is shining over head. 

Little did they know how the rest of their drive 

would go...

One silly little "ping" is all it took to drastically 

alter a life.

With her eyes off the road for 

only two seconds, she had not 

seen the ice patch just ahead.

In a jerky response to the slight skid of 

the fast moving car, the vehicle spun out 

of control.

The spinning vehicle slid across the four 

lanes.   It came to a stop in its violent 

collision with the tree at the edge of the 

highway.

Passing cars, having witnessed the accident, 

alerted local authorities for help.
