In the heart of an ancient zoo, beneath the warm embrace of the sun, lived Daisy the duck. Known for her cheerful quacks and friendly demeanor, Daisy's days were filled with joy as she waddled through the zoo, greeting her diverse animal friends. One sunny day, curiosity led her to a peculiar discovery that would set off an unforgettable adventure.

In an old zoo, nestled under the bright sun, there lived a duck named Daisy. Daisy loved to waddle around the zoo, letting out cheerful quacks everywhere she went. One sunny day, Daisy set out to greet all of her animal friends. She waved politely to Amy the alligator, Brian the bear and Cameron the Chimpanzee and they exchanged kind smiles as she walked pass them.

On her way to greet the others, Daisy noticed something from the corner of her eye. Curiosity struck her and she went over to examine the peculiar site. Daisy pushed away the fallen leaves which revealed a strange egg. Excitedly, she rushed to call her friend Edward, the eagle to show him the egg. “Edward” she shouted and without hesitation, he came to her assistance as he usually does. Edward soared high above, swooping gracefully towards Daisy. "What's the matter, my dear friend?" he asked, noticing her excitement. Daisy pointed to the mysterious egg, seeking Edward's advice. Studying it with keen eyes, Edward proposed it might belong to Frank, the frog. Determined to find out who the mysterious egg belonged to, Daisy and Edward set off to find Frank.

Frank the frog was taking his regular evening swim in the pond when Daisy and Edward approached him. Daisy presented the egg to Frank and his eyes widened with surprise. But unfortunately, the egg did not belong to him. "It must belong to someone else in the zoo", he thought. Frank suggested they seek guidance from Gloria, the goat.

Gloria the goat greedily ate the fresh grass that was laid by the old oak tree and paid no attention to the sound of footsteps approaching her. Daisy and Edward approached her and explained their dilemma. Gloria's eyes sparkled with curiosity as she pondered. "I believe this egg belongs to Harriet, the hen, I am sure of it" she declared. Daisy thought to herself that it must be one of Harriet’s lost eggs.

Anxiously, they rushed to the chicken coop, where Harriet was busy clucking and scratching the ground. Before Daisy and Edward could even ask if it was her egg, Harriet let out a loud cackle fluttering her wings into the air and her beak into the ground. “The only eggs I have are the ones that I have been sitting on since noon,” she said still cackling. “It is not my egg but I believe it belongs to Izzy the iguana, I am sure of it” she exclaimed.

Daisy and Edward hurried quickly to the overhanging trees by the riverbank to find Izzy the iguana. At first, they could not find her because she blended in perfectly with the green leaves of the tree. They asked her about the strange egg but unfortunately, Izzy did not know who the egg belonged to either. Izzy suggested that Jack the Jaguar, Kim the Kangaroo, Liam the Lama or Max the Mongoose might be the owner of the egg.

Their determination grew and they were certain that the mystery egg had to belong to one of them. They approached Jack the jaguar, Kim the kangaroo, Liam the lion, and Max the moose who were relaxing on the rocks waiting for the evening sunset. Daisy asked each of them and their response were all the same. Neither of them knew who the egg belonged to.
