I dedicated this book to her because she gave me the idea for this book in fourth grade at library.

Once upon a time there was A GINGERBREAD MAN but not just any gingerbread man-the most important that there will ever be...

One day Mrs. Claus was cleaning up at the North Pole and she found something weird in the laundry .

So Mrs. Claus went to show Santa. "Weird, it smells like ginger but is shaped like a man," Santa said. Why don't we call it a gingerbread man?
And Mrs. Claus agreed.

16 YEARS LATER...
A while went by and the gingerbread man grew up and had only one request for Christmas- his own gingerbread house.
Santa was getting older and it was harder for him to work at the North Pole. Mrs. Claus was practically working by herself and while she was working he was thinking this would be the last Christmas ever.
