The holiday of Christmas is a time for joy.

For decorating and for lots of toys!

All is quiet around the house.

Except for maybe just a mouse.

Santa leaves presents under the tree

I hope there's some for you and me!

We made some cookies, some I ate

and then we left some on a plate.

The Christmas tree is tall and bright

It shines for the world to see it's light!

With ornaments so colorful

they make the tree more beautiful!

The reindeer are pulling Santa's sleigh

they need to make it before Christmas day!

The presents are heavy, they have a big load

but everyone's happy, it recently snowed.

Christmas spirit fills the air

as Christmas day is almost here.

We gather with our family and friends

and hope the fun will never end!
