My Start
Hello, my name is Mila and I'm 10 years old. I also wanted to be in gymnastics it's so cool. I wanted to do it because all the girls in my class already signed up! I feel jealous when the girls do splits, handstands, back flips, and cartwheels. At recess, Ava calmed me down about gymnastics. "Calm down, Mila you don't have to be so worried about gymnastics," Ava said to me. Yeah, she's right. I can't be whining over something I can't have.
Big Surprise!
When recess was over, we went inside the classroom and sat at our desks. "Class, I have a very great surprise for you," announced Mrs. Anderson. "There will be a magic show on Wednesday and whoever wins with the most talent, they get $1,000." Everybody gasped and started talking. Ava had a ballerina dance class and Jake has super strong strength. Oh, and me? I don't have a talent which made me upset.
Gymnastics Practice
After school, I started to work on my talent. Gymnastics, of course! I tried to do the splits but it was too hard and painful. I kept trying, trying, and trying but I still can't! At that moment I was about to give up because gymnastics is my only hope. I sighed, "I guess I'm not going to win after all." Then,... Tasha came! OH NO!!
No! MY ENEMY!
I gulped. Seeing Tasha coming inside my house made me frightened and annoyed. She was my enemy because she was always rude to me. As Tasha opened the door she said, "What the heck are you doing? Trying to win that silly magic show? You don't need this." Then she stomped on my iPad. (old one) "What are you doing?! I need that!" I yelled. "Oops, have fun without it!" Tasha mocked. See? I'm telling you, she's mean. I sighed, "What should I do now?"
