Suzie lived with her mom, dad, grandma, and cat, Snowflake. As an only child, she got almost anything she wanted from her parents. 

Suzie was a very smart girl and loved school. She especially loved recess where she could play with all of her friends. Her best friends were Allison and Rylie, and she always had playdates with them. 

"Hey, Allison want to play outside?"

"Yes, that would be so fun! Rylie, want to come too?"

Suzie, Allison, and Rylie were playing outside and having so much fun. They even let Snowflake out. 

Allison and Rylie noticed that Suzie was not letting them use her toys, but they did not care. They were having fun just hanging out with their friends. 

"Can we play with some of your toys?"

"No, I am playing with them right now."

Suzie had just had her seventh birthday party. She had so much fun with her family and friends, and got all the toys she wanted!

"What was your favorite gift," asked Suzie's grandmother. 

"My new doll," Exclaimed Suzie!

The next day, Suzie was so excited to bring her new doll to school for show and tell. She had been asking for it for months, and all of her friends wanted the same one. 

"Suzie if I let you bring your doll you need to be careful to not lose it, and let your friends play with it too," instructed Suzie's mom. 

"I cannot wait to show my class my new doll."

Suzie was so excited about school that she was the first one to get there. Her teacher was very surprised she was early and was thrilled that she was so excited for show and tell. 

"Did you get that doll for your birthday," asked Mrs. Frazzle.

"Yes, I am so excited for show and tell," declared Suzie.

Finally, it was time for show and tell. Suzie's hand shot up excitedly when the teacher asked who wanted to go first. She showed her class how awesome her doll was, and everyone agreed. 

"This was my favorite toy I got for my birthday, and I was super excited when I got it," explained Suzie.

"I have been asking for that doll for so long," sighed Allison. 

Show and Tell

"This is my new doll, Sara!"

After show and tell Mrs. Frazzle took her class outside for recess. It was a very sunny day so all the kids were extra excited. 

Suzie, Allison, and Rylie were all playing together when Allison asked Suzie to play with her doll. This made Suzie angry, and she did not know why. She yelled back at Allison, causing her to cry. 

"No, it is my doll and you can not touch it!"

"Hey Suzie can I play with your doll?"

"Suzie why did you yell at her," asked Rylie, "I am going to get Mrs. Frazzle."

Suzie felt bad for how she yelled, but she wanted to keep playing with her doll. 

When Rylie got back with Mrs. Frazzle, she took Suzie back inside to talk. 

"Come on Suzie, your recess is done for today. We are going to go inside."

"Allison are you okay?"

"Suzie, why did you yell at Allison," asked Mrs. Frazzle, "she just asked to play with your doll."

"I am not sure," expressed Suzie, "I got really angry when she wanted to play with my doll." 

"Well, sometimes we have to share our toys," explained Mrs. Frazzle, "I am going to talk to your parents about this, maybe they can help you understand a little more."
